Clarion Inn Biltmore Village

The two of us went to a conference here in Asheville. Stayed here 3 nights. The room was small but clean, and the king size bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great- there was a waffle maker, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, etc. Fitness room had what appeared to be brand new equipment - elliptical, bike, weights, treadmill (or maybe had very little use). The TV on the wall did not work and neither did the elliptical TV/monitor, but that had no effect on elliptical performance. An elevator would have been nice, since we had several suitcases, and mine was heavy and all of this had to be hauled up an outside metal stairway in 25 degree, windy conditions. And we are both getting on up there, so yeah, was not fun…

I ended up here on a Monday night, just 30 minutes from home, because ice had shut down the interstates in Asheville and I just needed to get off the road. After taking an hour and a half to drive a mile and a half to get to the hotel, with pickup trucks spinning out all around me, my nerves were shot, to say the least. The very kind man working the front desk had exactly the calm, soothing, professional demeanor that I and the similarly frazzled man in front of me needed. He answered questions, directed us each to food and parking, and generally made me feel like I had finally reached a safe harbor. The room was clean, large, and comfortable, and the breakfast was pretty good. The price is excellent for the location. The walls are a bit thin but I set my heater to constant fan and didn't hear anything else. To whomever was working the front desk at 8 pm on Nov 10, thank you.

I thoroughly enjoy staying here. Its in a nice area and most of all the rooms are clean and they smell good. There is no mold or left over grime, its clean!!! The refrigerator and microwave both work and are also clean. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The prices are reasonable. The front roo.s facing the streets can at times be a bit noisy but you need silence just request a room on the backside.

A great room for a good price and right in between downtown and a little slower part of town. Room was great, clean and comfortable. Driveway is difficult though, there’s no turn lane and it’s a very steep hill that has to be climbed. Would hate to deal with snowy weather coming here.

Excellent room, ultra clean, nice size room. Price was a welcome value. Staff attentive and helpful. Will stay again.

One of my favorite stays in a long time! Conveniently located near I-40. Very comfy clean rooms, super comfy beds. Tvs are loaded with channels! Good easy wifi. Walking distance to restaurants. I'll be back! A+++

Look out for the steep and almost hidden drive to enter. Didn't like that the coffee packets were both open and empty but they replaced them immediately. They also had to reprogram our TV before we could use it. But once we were settled in, it was nice.

My mom and I stayed at this location around Thanksgiving for a visit to the Biltmore Estate. Check-in was easy and Chelsea was very friendly. Breakfast was good and our room was clean and comfortable. I left a note for housekeeping asking for a second laundry bag and a clean floor towel for the bathroom (to replace our damp one) after our first night there, and both were ready and waiting when we returned to the room for our second night. This is a very affordable option for staying in Asheville and wanting to be fairly close to Biltmore!
